KeyOn Communications Holdings, Inc., providers of wireless broadband, satellite video and voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) services in the United States, announced it has entered into a definitive Asset Purchase Agreement with ERF Wireless, Inc. to acquire certain wireless broadband networks and subscribers in East Central Texas.
KeyOn will pay $3 million in cash and 100,000 shares of the company's common stock. The transaction is expected to close in mid-February.
According to a release, when closed, this acquisition will represent the ninth acquisition of network assets and subscribers since the inception of Rural UniFi in the fourth quarter of 2009 and is the Company's thirteenth acquisition overall.
